SPECIAL EVENTS
There is always a lot going on at Temple Beth El! We offer services and festival celebrations for Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Chanukah, Purim, Pesach, and Shavuot. Another big event is our annual Ice Storm Wine Tasting party, with a different theme each year. Temple Beth El is frequently involved in interfaith and other learning opporutnities in the community. One unusual and exciting example was Rabbi Susan's spring 2010 work with an architecture class at the University of Maine in Augusta to design "dream synagogues", which provided the opportunity to consider the role of a temple and how its design affects a Jewish congregation.
